Mi School

My school, JASMS(Jose Abad Santos Memorial School) of Quezon City was greatly damaged by the typhoon "Ondoy."

6 hours ago, we visited our school to donate soaps and disinfectants. Sadly, students (especially children) were not allowed to help, because snakes started appearing. I was only allowed by the guard to take pictures just from the driveway.

The wall protecting our school from the creek broke down. The flood has reached the basketball net. The elementary, high school, and MS department; the clinic; and the library were damaged. Not one locker was saved.

None of the 40 computers of the elementary and high school computer laboratory were not saved. (20 computer sets were brand new, it was delivered to the computer laboratory in July.) Among 20 to 30+ computers of the college department, only five survived.

For one whole week or more, we will have no classes.

Please do pray for our school, and our country.
